Analog To Digital

At 5:45 AM on Friday, June 12, 2009, WPTV in West Palm Beach, Florida shut down its analog transmitter. WPTV has been broadcasting on channel 5 for 50+ years. Here are the final moments of the analog signal. It’s the end of an era. Sorry about the quality but I didn’t get a good analog signal because they reduced their analog power to half about a year ago. — ©2009 WPTV/EW Scripps Company
